SLMS/NYLA 101 – Learning about your professional organization
Is this your first time at a SLMS conference? Are you a new member of SLMS? Are you a long-time member who wants to learn about how to become more involved and find out what’s new? Come to the SLMS/NYLA 101 session to learn about your local, state and national professional organizations. Topics will include benefits of membership, leadership opportunities, crisis support, what to do or not to do at a conference and time for questions and discussion. This is your opportunity to network with colleagues from all over New York State.

Bunko Night, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Getting into Albany Thursday evening and looking for something to do? Interested in networking with other SLMS?
Then join us for
Bunko is an easy-to-learn dice game, so don’t fret if you’ve never played before.
We will play three games and explain the directions before each, so drop in at any time. The cost will be $3.00/game, which will be used for cash prizes. You won’t be able to retire on your winnings, but you will make some new friends.
